T U N E

TUNE is a KA2 project between France🇫🇷 (NICOLA Arts France), Italy🇮🇹 (NICOLA Italy), and Turkey🇹🇷 (Serik) co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Program. The project aims to facilitate cross-cultural exchange and cooperation through choir workshops for young people from different countries. The objectives of the project are to enhance musical skills, promote cultural understanding, and develop new partnerships among participants. We will implement a range of activities to achieve our project objectives, including workshops, training sessions, intercultural activities, joint music-making, and public concerts.

The Objectives:

• Maintain a united way for social inclusion.
• Build a community for young people to bring them together, create a sense of community and connect with others who share a common interest.
• Promote self-expression to express themselves through singing, which can be a powerful and therapeutic outlet.
• Improve mental health by reducing stress and anxiety, and increasing feelings of happiness and well-being.
• Develop social skills via collaboration and communication with others.
• Enhance cultural cognizance thanks to choirs which can expose members to different cultures and traditions.
• Raise cognizance about youth issues including racism, discrimination, and LGBQ.
• Promote European values and develop cohesion among European youth.
• Reach 600 people with our project and produce cognizance to the wider community.
• Disseminate the project toolkit to 300 people.
• Promote EU funding projects to the wider community.
• Reach 150 people with Multiplier Event at the local and national level.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, creativity, arts, and culture.

The toolkit is currently being prepared and will be shared here once available. It will include materials to help youth organizations implement similar cross-cultural choir projects.
